My genetics show I have 1.8 higher than average possibility to develop Parkinson’s disease and 1.4 higher than average possibility to develop stomach cancer.

I worry about my health and want to do everything in my power to protect it. For this reason I have a nutritionist who gives me in-depth meal plans specifically tailored to my genetic make-up.

I embed rings with people's full genome sequence in them. It started as a hobby to create an heirloom for my children but interest in the project quickly grew. Sometimes the rings are statement pieces, bulky and bold. But I have also made many very slight ones—it is still possible to encode extensive data in them.

I am a partner at a private health centre, Genosquad. We strive to achieve our own peak personal physical fitness through strength training and cardio plans specific to the way our bodies are built. I have a personal trainer there who works me hard but knows exactly how to help my body recover afterwards.

I worry a lot about my privacy. I would never trust my data in a public bank. Equally the competitive market of the private bank system makes me worry they are not always transparent in how they use my data—but maybe I am just paranoid. I check in regularly with comparison magazines like Juxta to make sure I am still with the bank that suits me—though I have only changed company a handful of times. There are few scandals.
